Miles Anderson

Miles Anderson

Miles has studied and practiced Iridology & Kinesiology since 1991. He was pursuing his undergraduate studies to become a physician when his sister was diagnosed with polyps in her sinuses and the base of her brain. After being unsuccessfully treated by steroids and antibiotics, the doctors were unable to help her with this condition. Miles’ mother, Randy Anderson, found an iridologist in their area that was able to help them eliminate the polyps. This helped them restore her health.

Due to the success of the treatment, Miles’ mother certified as an iridologist under Dr. Bernard Jensen. Miles then began training with his mother and finished his certification with Bernard Jensen.

He has helped thousands of people improve and maintain their health since 1991.

Miles served as an armor crewman on the M1-A1 tanks during the Operation Desert Storm. Shortly after beginning his iridology practice, Miles was diagnosed with Gulf War Syndrome due to the vaccinations and other chemicals he was exposed to during his service.

The chemicals caused the enlargement of the lymph nodes at the base of his brain. He experienced constant headaches similar to migraines or cluster headaches, pain through his entire body, extreme fatigue, body tremors and exhaustion. In addition, his skin was constantly broken out with sores where the chemicals were trying to leave his body. He often joked that he had leprosy. When he was the sickest, he weighed only 118 pounds. He is 6 feet tall leaving him just skin and bones.

Despite his illness, he continued to see his clients. He did this because he knew if he just rested, he’d die. In 1998, he and his wife gave birth to a daughter, Bailee. Later, due to the stress of the illness, his marriage ended in divorce. He remembers feeling prompted to make a choice between life and death. He chose to live so he could be there for his little girl.

He received treatment from the military for his illness. However, none of the treatments they used had a positive result. In the end, it was his knowledge of iridology and kinesiology that saved his life. He undertook his own treatment and regained his health and strength. He continues to struggle with his health due to the impact of those chemicals. But has gone on to help thousands of people with their mental, emotional and physical health.

He later married his current wife, Tresa, in 2002. Miles was 38 at the time and felt that if they were going to have children, they needed to do it right away. This was not to be. After years of trying, Miles and Tresa finally sought the help of professionals. For years they tried clomid, artificial insemination, amongst other procedures, in addition to all of the natural remedies he used to help his clients become pregnant. Finally, after all other methods failed, they sought help from the University of Utah Fertility Clinic. They completed Invitro Fertilization and were finally able to have two boys. Sam was born in 2014 and Jake was born in 2017. At his mature age, they are keeping him young. Or at least that’s what “they” say.

During his time in practice, Miles has developed his own method of applied kinesiology in order to test which systems in the body and which supplements were higher in priority. This has given him an edge on other practitioners and created faster more efficient results with his clients.

He is often referred clients who are having difficulty conceiving. He has helped hundreds of couples conceive children and carry them to term. There has been more than one time when he’s out and about where someone will introduce him as, “he’s the one who got me pregnant.”

Miles personal experience with illness, disappointment and grief positions him perfectly to empathize with the struggles his clients are experiencing, whether they are mental, emotional or spiritual.

Miles runs a thriving practice in Idaho Falls. He constantly has over 100 people on his cancellation list. He is currently creating a curriculum to teach iridologist and move to the next phase of his career. He hopes to mentor new practitioners across the country and help many people as a result of his efforts.

Katie Semrad

Katie has been seeing Miles as a client since she was a very little girl. Miles has also been helping her family and extended family with holistic health for three decades and counting. Even though she has been around holistic health all her life, it wasn’t until college that holistic health started to really grab her attention. She graduated from ISU with a bachelors of science degree in Health Education with emphasis on fitness and nutrition in 2008. After a few different jobs in doctors offices and Clinical Research, she found what truly interested her in Iridology. Working with Miles has been a true blessing in helping her ‘learn the ropes’ with Iridology, especially with typing up the classes he teaches!  Katie enjoys being the resident foot bath technician and helping clients with their foot bath needs. She is very detail-oriented and handles all the inventory and ordering. We are so grateful that she’s around to handle all the tiny details that escape most of us.

Katie has been married to her husband Chris for 6 and a half years and has two of the cutest little fur babies. She also has 4 nephews, (soon to be 5) and one (soon to be 2) niece(s) that she loves to spoil and spend time with!
